Together, they’re perfect for a summer full of homemade salsa verde, stuffed peppers, and fresh tacos… Great for getting stuck in yourself, or as a gift for a gardening friend.

In this package:

• Tomatillo ‘Mexican Musk’ – Physalis ixocarpa
Related to the physalis, with large, sweet berries in a papery husk. The base of authentic salsa verde! Easy to grow and resistant to disease, producing around 30 to 40 fruits per plant. Plant at least two together for pollination.
  ± 40 seeds · item no. 296820
• Pepper ‘Jalapeño (Early Hot)’ – Capsicum annuum
The well-known Mexican pepper, with a smooth skin and usually moderately hot (2,500–8,000 Scoville). Fresh in salsa, or smoked and dried. The fruits grow to about 5 × 2 cm and turn from green to red.

• Pepper ‘Ancho’ / ‘Poblano’ – Capsicum annuum
One of the largest peppers, and one of the most widely grown in Mexico. Harvested green, it is called Poblano; dried, Ancho. The heart-shaped fruits turn from dark green to chestnut-brown-red. Mild (1,000–2,000 Scoville) and delicious for stuffing! OK-seeds.
  15 seeds · item no. 207870
• Coriander ‘Slowbolt’ / ‘Santo’ – Coriandrum sativum
A variety that produces plenty of leaves and only sets seed later. The most widely used culinary herb in the world, and essential in salsa and guacamole. The flowering plants attract beneficial insects, including aphid predators.
  ± 1,000 seeds (10 g) · item no. 347920
• Pápalo – Porophyllum ruderale
A Mexican herb used by the Aztecs, even before coriander became popular in the Americas. The leaves have a spicy, distinctive aroma, reminiscent of coriander and lemon but fuller. Use fresh in tacos, salsa, and sauces. It is very expensive to buy fresh, so growing it yourself pays off! We alternately supply the round-leaved or narrow-leaved variety, both equally delicious.
