The Hori Hori knife first appeared in Japan around our Middle Ages, in the 13th or 14th century. The word "Hori" means digging in Japanese. With its curved, serrated, and razor-sharp blade, the knife is suitable for digging or cutting through roots and tough soil. This multifunctional gardening tool is a knife, saw, and digging tool. It can also be used for transplanting seedlings or as a measuring tool for planting bulbs (with cm and inch markings on the blade for measuring planting depth). We supply this planting knife including a sheath to attach to your belt.
