Hoe 'Deneb'

The hoe is such a typically Dutch garden tool that it's called a 'Dutch Hoe' in English! Its use is probably well-known: by means of a pushing motion, weeds are cut off at the root just below the stems. Young weeds dry out (hoe during dry days!) and large weeds fall over. The Deneb also loosens the topsoil, improving oxygenation. The bronze hoe has a double attachment on the blade for extra sturdiness. The handle (without hilt) is made of linden wood.
