This model has 7 tines (67 cm wide), suitable for light soil. The handle length is 110 cm.
Cultivate without digging! The Woelvork (cultivating fork) is a variation of the traditional digging fork with a well-thought-out ergonomic and extremely strong design. This allows you to remain upright during cultivation without straining your back and legs. No more back pain from heavy digging! This makes the cultivating fork very suitable for the vegetable garden.
Instead of turning the soil over, the cultivating fork loosens it very well. In this way,
soil life and soil structure are not disturbed, but the soil is still well
prepared for sowing or planting. Due to the special curved shape of the tines, the
fork has a large leverage effect, causing clods to loosen and break up effectively.
Further applications: aerating around trees, aerating the compost pile, removing woody "suckers".
How does it work? Both handles ensure a good weight distribution. Insert the fork into the spot that needs aerating, and press it into the soil with one foot, using your own weight. First pull backward, then forward, then left and right, shaking out any weeds and tossing them aside for the compost pile.
PLEASE NOTE: BEFORE USE, ALWAYS SOAK THE HANDLES INCLUDING THE FORK IN WATER OVERNIGHT (OR LEAVE THEM OUT IN THE RAIN) TO ACHIEVE THE NECESSARY TOUGHNESS!
