This model has 2 tines, suitable for heavy to very heavy soil. The handle length is 110 cm.

Soil cultivation without digging! The Broadfork is a variation of the traditional digging fork with a well-thought-out ergonomic and extremely strong design. This allows you to stand upright during cultivation without straining your back and legs. No more back pain from heavy digging! This makes the broadfork very suitable for the vegetable garden.
Instead of turning over the soil, the broadfork loosens it very well. In this way,
soil life and soil structure are not disturbed, but the soil is still well
prepared for sowing or planting. Due to the special curved shape of the tines, the
fork has a large leverage effect, allowing clumps to loosen and crumble well.
Further applications: aerating around trees, aerating the compost heap, removing woody "suckers."
How does it work? Both handles ensure a good distribution of weight. Insert the fork into the spot that needs aerating, and press it into the earth with one foot using your own weight. First pull backward, then forward, then left and right, shake out any weeds and discard them for the compost heap.

PLEASE NOTE: BEFORE USE, ALWAYS SOAK THE HANDLES INCLUDING THE FORK IN WATER OVERNIGHT (OR OUTSIDE IN THE RAIN) TO ACHIEVE THE NECESSARY TOUGHNESS!
