Mourning Dove Bird Caller

Material used: Varnished Beechwood

Our assortment of bird callers are all true instruments: handcrafted gems made from natural materials: wood, metal, and leather. The designs are still being refined to achieve the most accurate possible imitation of the actual bird sound. In addition to the material and design, the player obviously has a significant influence. Listen carefully to the bird's original call (see, for example, "bird sounds" on Google). We will add as many videos as possible as examples for practice! You will notice that birds other than the exact species mentioned will also react, so the species name should be interpreted broadly... Finally: enjoy communicating with our feathered friends, but do not disturb them. If you notice aggressive behavior or alarm calls, for example, stop communicating; it indicates nest defense.
