Vegtrug Vegetable Planter medium

The VegTrug (Vegetable Trough) is a sturdy and attractive wooden planter on legs, perfect for growing vegetables, herbs, or flowers in any (bright) spot. Key features include:

Maintenance:
Both fertilization and drainage are very important.
Empty the VegTrug into your garden every winter and let it dry.
Once the wood is dry, you can make it weatherproof with linseed oil, put the plastic "liner" back in, first a layer of hydro-granules (which you can reuse every year), then organic potting soil. During cultivation, fertilize well with, for example, worm castings or Mushroom Compost, and for a new crop, mix a small bag of potting soil into the top layer.
