This perennial plant is a favorite of many...! In spring, the sturdy leaves appear first, soon followed by clusters of wonderfully sweet-scented white bells. Pick them for a small vase too... Older people might even have had them in their wedding bouquet!
They love poor, shady soil and will spread quickly there. Never plant them with Wild Garlic, as they look similar and the leaves of this Lily of the Valley are not edible and are poisonous in large quantities.
