Beautiful, winter-hardy begonia, originally from the colder parts of Asia. This cultivar comes from Terra Nova (Oregon). The foliage is the first ornamental part that stands out: shaped like a maple leaf, silvery-grey with green veins and deep red stems with a reddish-brown underside. The small, single, light pink flowers grow up to 1 meter high, have a delicate fragrance, and are edible! The plant blooms well into autumn...! Give the plants a semi-shaded to fully shaded, moist spot, and they will surprise you for years to come in the spring. Some winter cover is recommended, as the plants tolerate frost down to -10°C.
