A typical thyme, found in the wild on Corsica, Sardinia, and Majorca. Its distinctive taste and scent is a mix of thyme and caraway and can be used in cooking for both herbs. Give the plants a sunny spot with good drainage. The small, slightly hairy leaves grow on creeping stems. The plants are adorned with light pink labiate flowers, which are popular with butterflies, bees, and other insects. In our country, it is used as an annual, but it can be overwintered in a greenhouse.
