This hybrid cross is the most sought-after and famous comfrey. It is the only comfrey that does not self-seed or spread aggressively! Particularly rich in proteins, the young leaves are edible. The plant is famous among organic gardeners for its enriching addition to compost, as the basis for rich liquid fertilizer (comfrey tea), and as a rich mulch.
