A sage from the ancient Native American tradition. Many ceremonies include white sage as an ingredient. The bushy plants form sturdy stems with powdery grey-green leaves ("white"). Bees and other insects love the flowers! Other uses: for skin cleansing, natural deodorant, and as a herbal tea. Sowing tip: Soaking seeds for 24 hours in water with smoke primer (809700) significantly increases germination rate!
