Fantastically flowering sage, in shades of pink and red with possible intermediate colours. The flowers are much loved for their slightly sweet taste with a blackcurrant (cherry) nuance. The leaves are quite bitter, but after a milk infusion (for example, for making ice cream), this bitterness disappears and gives way to a herbaceous sage flavour. Hardy, provided it is not too wet.
