The "miracle fruits" (which, by the way, are not tasty), as well as the leaves and roots of this fascinating houseplant, possess beneficial properties and potentially positively influence the human immune system to such an extent that wondrous qualities have been attributed to the plant for 2000 years. The red color in batik art historically came from, among other things, the root of the Morinda. The plant grows with us as a fairly robust houseplant and will start bearing fruit after 3-5 years of growth. Place 2 or 3 plants in one pot. In summer, enjoy it outdoors. Even if all the miraculous properties turn out to be relative, a culturally very interesting plant remains nonetheless….
