Fresh mint with a distinct apple scent! The leaves are hairy and have a woolly touch. The flowers are white. A delicious mint for tea and fresh dishes.
Most mint varieties of the genus Mentha grow in sun or shade. In the sun, the most compact growth and the most intense color, scent, and flavor are achieved. Each species goes through 2 growth stages: in spring, there's an upward growth spurt for flowering. After that, horizontal (hard) growing runners emerge, which develop into new plants elsewhere. Bees and butterflies love mint flowers.
