An elegant and tasty geranium! The plant grows wide with short-haired, grey-green leaves: just like a velvet cushion! The light pink flowers are slender, subtle and appear in large clusters. This South African plant (despite its hairiness) loves a lot of moisture. Give it sun to partial shade and marvel at this beauty... Mix some finely chopped leaves through cakes, desserts, etc. or make a refreshing tea from it. Externally, the leaves are used to soothe (sun)burnt skin. A wonderfully fragrant oil is made from the leaves, you can experience for yourself how long the scent is active by mixing some leaves in a potpourri.
Scented geraniums are a welcome addition to the "experience garden". Just run your hands through them, just sniff... In a large pot, they can also be placed behind the windowsill or in the bedroom: again, run your hands through them and mosquitoes won't come in so quickly!
Furthermore, a few leaves in the bath are good for a wonderfully relaxing moment of enjoyment. Because the leaves are also edible, a leaf in tea or in iced tea and mixed drinks gives a wonderful scent and aroma! Further tips: use them to flavour sauces, ice cream, pastries, apple sauce and vinegar.
