The scent of mint, roses, and other herbs blend into a mysterious aroma… I cultivated these as a teenager and made a beautiful bonsai out of them by constantly pruning. Use the plant (besides its fresh edibility) as a mosquito repellent! The slightly curled, green-and-white leaves are adorned with pink-and-white flowers in the summer!
Scented geraniums are a welcome addition to a "sensory garden". Just run your hands through them, take a sniff... In a large pot, they can also be placed behind the windowsill or in the bedroom: again, run your hands through them and mosquitoes won't come in so easily!
Furthermore, a few leaves in the bath are great for a wonderfully relaxing moment of enjoyment. Since the leaf is also edible, a leaf in tea or in iced tea and mixed drinks provides a delightful scent and aroma! Further tips: use it to flavor sauces, ice cream, pastries, apple sauce, and vinegar.
