The old familiar lemon geranium; I cultivated this as a teenager and made a beautiful bonsai from it by constantly pruning it. Use the plant (besides its fresh edibility) as a mosquito repellent! Its slightly curled, green leaves are adorned with pink and white flowers in summer!
Scented geraniums are a welcome addition to an "experience garden." Just run your hands through them, take a sniff... In a large pot, they can also be placed behind a window sill or in the bedroom: again, just run your hands through them and mosquitoes won't enter as easily!
Furthermore, a few leaves in the bath are good for a wonderfully relaxing moment of enjoyment. Because the leaves are also edible, a leaf in tea or iced tea and mixed drinks provides a wonderful scent and aroma! Further tips: use it to flavor sauces, ice cream, pastries, applesauce, and vinegar.
