Strawberries 'Oberschlesien'

  • Product number: 830580.1
  • Origin: Germany
  • Latin: Fragaria x ananassa

This historic variety was bred in 1919 and was the most important strawberry in Germany and Austria for many years. The bright red fruits ripen at the end of July and have a delicious aroma. The variety is very strong and resistant to diseases. Partly due to its very good production, this was a top performer in the first half of the 20th century. Our strawberry collection consists partly of rare old varieties, which are only sporadically available. Therefore, the waiting period may be long. Every year in July, our grower pots a new crop, which is delivered in August-September. In April-May, we can supplement a part of this assortment. Please note that there will be postage costs for any subsequent deliveries.
