(1982) A Canadian top performer, which also thrives well in colder climates. The plants produce a healthy and sturdy crop without too many runners, and you can expect a fairly large yield. The bright red and firm fruits have a good, sweet taste and are mid-season harvestable. A hot summer is not a problem, they are well resistant to drought; with heavy rainfall, ensure that the water drains quickly, preferably cultivating them on raised beds or in large pots or containers. Our strawberry collection consists partly of rare old varieties, which are only available in limited quantities. Therefore, the waiting time may be long. A new crop is potted annually by our grower in July, which is delivered in August-September. In April-May, we can replenish part of this assortment. Please note that postage costs may apply for any subsequent deliveries.
