Perpetual Strawberry 'Evie 2'
- Product number: 830285.1
- Origin: Europe
- Latin: Fragaria x ananassa
AVAILABLE AT LEAST ONCE A YEAR. (2006) (Everglade x J92D12) Breeder Peter Vinson. A modern everbearer with high production, which bears well during erratic weather changes, from cold and wet to very warm periods in summer. The fruits are beautifully shaped and firm, as wide as they are long, and the taste: a nice balance between sweet and sour with a fairly firm texture and fine aroma. The plants bear the fruits just above the foliage.
Our strawberry collection partly consists of rare old varieties, which are only sparingly available. Annually in July, our grower pots a new crop, which is delivered in September. In April-May, we can replenish part of this assortment.
