Latecomer from Switzerland 'Berneck 4'

A promising strawberry from Swiss breeder Ernst Niederer. His goal was to breed varieties suitable for organic cultivation. This late-fruiting variety produces very aromatic, large, bright red fruits. The plants grow quite compactly. Our strawberry collection partly consists of rare old varieties, which are only available in small quantities. Each year, in July, a new crop is potted by our grower, which is delivered in September. In April-May, we can supplement some of this assortment.
