SOLD OUT! (1977) An intricate cross between common strawberries (x ananassa) and wild strawberries (vesca) with the aim of obtaining large strawberries with the appealing taste of wild strawberries. Produces many runners. Unlike most strawberries, the plants can remain in the same location for years. A Swedish cross from Balsgard with medium-sized fruits, and even very large fruits for a wild strawberry.
Our strawberry collection partly consists of rare old varieties, which are only sparingly available. Annually in July, our grower pots a new crop, which is delivered in September. In April-May, we can replenish some of this assortment.
