This slow-growing fig tree bears large, golden-yellow fruits with a brownish-red blush. The juicy pink flesh has a very good taste. This old French variety was already described in 1667 and is therefore certainly much older! In France, it is probably the most famous and beloved fig. If the bush is in an extra warm place (south-facing wall or greenhouse), it bears fruit twice: in July and September.
