Passion fruits have a unique, pleasant taste: sweet and slightly bitter. The most successful and delicious fruits grow on this species (Passiflora edulis). Grow them in a greenhouse that you can just keep frost-free or in a large pot that you can move to a frost-free location. They cannot withstand night frost, but they do like to be cool and bright in winter. The beautiful, white and purple flowers are self-pollinating, so fruit set is often successful!
