This hermaphroditic, monoecious species was developed for hobbyists at a research station in Germany. (Hermaphroditic = both pistil and stamens on one flower, monoecious = male and female organs within one plant). This plant therefore does not need an additional pollinator, although two plants do provide better pollination. Jenny grows vigorously and is very winter hardy. The light pink blossoms are followed by rather small, but tasty kiwis.
