A unique, graceful appearance within the berry family! The plant is entirely red-spined, soft spines by the way, which do not hurt much. This Asian berry has been cultivated in Europe since 1876 and yields a delicious harvest of red wineberries from mid-July to August: fresh and sour in taste with a particularly pleasant mouthfeel. For jam, mixing with redcurrants, for example, is recommended for a stronger aroma. Growth is not too vigorous.
