(1968) Breeder Pauls Sukatniks, Latvia
This delicious red table grape is very winter-hardy and fruits early in the year. Typically a variety that thrives even in quite northern Scandinavia!
Growing grapes outdoors is the dream of many garden owners, isn't it?! In contrast to the disappointing varieties 'Witte van der Laan' and 'Rembrandt', we offer a selection of tasty, mostly disease-resistant varieties, extensively tested in our climate.
Grapes can be susceptible to fungi such as powdery mildew, downy mildew, botrytis, black rot, and red spot disease. Some varieties are almost completely resistant, others have partial resistance or a very high resistance to fungi. With a few sprays in spring with organic agents (see our chapter on organic crop protection), these can be kept very healthy.
MOST VARIETIES CAN ONLY BE PURCHASED ONCE A YEAR (IN NOVEMBER OR MAY). DELIVERY TIME CAN THEREFORE BE LONG.
