French variety. Small, compact bunches and berries, deep red juice. Beautiful burgundy-red leaves throughout the summer. Moderately vigorous grower. As an ornamental grape, not for eating as is, possibly for wine, ripe mid-October.
Growing grapes outdoors is the dream of many garden owners, isn't it...? In contrast to the disappointing varieties 'Witte van der Laan' and 'Rembrandt', we offer a selection of tasty, mostly disease-resistant varieties, extensively tested in our climate.
Grapes can be susceptible to fungi, such as powdery mildew, downy mildew, botrytis, black rot and red blotch disease. Some varieties are almost completely resistant, others have partial resistance or very high resistance to fungi. With a few sprays in the spring with organic products (see our chapter on organic crop protection), these can be kept very healthy.
MOST VARIETIES CAN ONLY BE PURCHASED ONCE A YEAR (IN NOVEMBER OR MAY). DELIVERY TIMES CAN THEREFORE BE LONG.
