(1968) The plant has vigorous growth and bears beautiful bunches of red grapes. The berries are almost seedless, Guna is truly intended as a table grape and tastes very good with fine Muscat aromas. This (female-flowering) grape requires cross-pollination with another grape, for example Spulga, for fruit set. This variety was developed in Latvia by breeder Pauls Sukatniks.
Growing grapes outdoors is the dream of many garden owners, isn't it?! In contrast to the disappointing varieties 'Witte van der Laan' and 'Rembrandt', we offer a selection of tasty, mostly disease-resistant varieties, extensively tested in our climate.
Grapes can be susceptible to fungi, such as powdery mildew, downy mildew, botrytis, black spot, and red blotch disease. Some varieties are almost completely resistant, others have partial resistance or very high resistance to fungi. With a few sprays in spring with organic agents (see our chapter on organic crop protection), these can be kept very healthy.
WE CAN ONLY PURCHASE MOST VARIETIES ONCE A YEAR (IN NOVEMBER OR MAY). DELIVERY TIMES MAY THEREFORE BE LONG.
