For those who want to grow Pinot Noir but are daunted by the difficult cultivation, this substitute is an excellent option. It ripens early (mid-September) and has average disease resistance.
Growing grapes outdoors is the dream of many garden owners, isn't it?! Unlike the disappointing varieties 'Witte van der Laan' and 'Rembrandt', we offer a selection of tasty, mostly disease-resistant varieties, extensively tested in our climate.
Grapes can be susceptible to fungi, such as powdery mildew, downy mildew, botrytis, and black and red spot disease. Some varieties are almost entirely resistant, others have partial resistance or very high resistance to fungi. With a few sprayings in spring with organic remedies (see our chapter on organic crop protection), these can be kept very healthy.
WE CAN ONLY PURCHASE MOST VARIETIES ONCE A YEAR (IN NOVEMBER OR MAY). DELIVERY TIMES CAN THEREFORE BE LONG.
