Blue Outdoor Grape 'Chambourcin' / 'Cabernet Cortis'

We supply these 2 varieties alternately or mixed, due to the small differences. The French variety is Chambourcin and the German variety is Cabernet Cortis. Both have very good resistance to fungal diseases. They produce very large bunches with medium-sized berries, ripening mid-late (October, Chambourcin slightly later than the German). Vigorous growth, delicious as a table grape and for a fruity to full-bodied wine.

Growing grapes outdoors is the dream of many garden owners, isn't it...? Unlike the disappointing varieties 'Witte van der Laan' and 'Rembrandt', we offer a selection of tasty, mostly disease-resistant varieties, extensively tested in our climate.
Grapes can be susceptible to fungi, such as powdery mildew, downy mildew, botrytis, black spot, and red blotch. Some varieties are almost entirely resistant, others have partial resistance or a very high resistance to fungi. With a few sprays in spring with organic agents (see our chapter on organic crop protection), these can be kept very healthy.
WE CAN ONLY PURCHASE MOST VARIETIES ONCE A YEAR (IN NOVEMBER OR MAY). THEREFORE, DELIVERY TIMES MAY BE LONG.
