A tall square pot fully meets the requirements of space and growth characteristics: the square shape means there is no wasted space between the pots, allowing for the maximum amount of soil to be provided. The depth accommodates many plants that primarily root deeply rather than widely.
The side is cleverly profiled to encourage roots to grow downwards. The bottom is flat, allowing for optimal water absorption from a saucer.
Always use a light soil mixture in a deep pot, for example, potting soil (850630) with coco peat (809620) and clay granules (850600)
