Deep Seed & Cutting Trays 77 Pots (77 mm deep)

These practical seed and cutting trays have been specially developed for deep-rooting crops such as trees and shrubs grown from seed or cuttings, as well as all types of annual and perennial vegetable and ornamental crops that you want to grow for a longer period.
The vertical indentations force the roots to grow vertically. Research indicates that plants need depth more than width for rooting. Therefore, a lot of space is wasted when growing in pots where the diameter is equal to the height, and more water also evaporates. A narrow and tall pot is therefore the most ideal.
The trays contain 77 cells (7x11) and measure 56.5x36 cm. The cells are 45x45mm and 77mm deep.
