Copper rings are pre-bent and have a coupling slot at the ends, making them easy to install. The rings are handcrafted in the Netherlands and pre-formed, so they are ready for use. They are connectable to each other. Press the rings slightly into the ground to prevent slugs from crawling underneath them.

When slugs come into contact with copper, a toxic reaction occurs between the copper and the slugs' mucus, which generates a slight electrical current and repels the slugs. The advantages are that it works in both wet and dry weather, is very effective, and does not kill the slugs, so birds still have their meal... The copper may lose its effect after oxidation, so make it shiny again from time to time with sandpaper. Please note that there may already be eggs or slugs within the circle when applying the copper barricade. Neighbouring plants that are not protected should not touch the plants to be protected, otherwise they will act as a bridge.
