RARE BULB PLANT! From the large bulbs, a long stem (1-2 m) grows with hundreds of small white flowers. Flowering usually occurs before leaf growth and can even take place in autumn, if the weather is good, the plant can still be kept outdoors. This beautiful bulb plant can be found in the wild around the Mediterranean and in West Asia. We need to overwinter them cool and frost-free, pot them in a large pot with airy soil and a good drainage layer, keeping most of the bulb above ground. The plant loves sun and moisture during growth, which then drains away quickly. After flowering, the leaves should be pampered for as long as possible, and when they die off, the bulb can be stored in a dry place. In ancient times, this plant was used medicinally and (in larger quantities) as rat poison. So you cannot eat the plant!
