Paeonia officinalis 'Anemoniflora Rosea'

The dark pink flowers have a heart of pink petals with a golden yellow edge. The leaves are light green with a blue haze. The plant grows to a maximum of 40 cm and is therefore very suitable for rock gardens. Blooms from mid-May.

After years of experience in the Netherlands, our grower has put together a TOP assortment of the most beautiful and successful peonies.

They grow on all soil types:
On clay, growth is problem-free; do not fertilize too much and ensure good drainage.
On sand, the plants remain somewhat smaller; sufficient fertilization keeps the plant in good condition.
On peat soil, growth is generally good; however, the plants will need to be transplanted or renewed a little earlier.

Place peonies in a sunny spot, plant them (immediately after arrival) so shallowly that only a few cm of soil covers the buds, first press down the soil.
We supply loose rhizomes, each plant has grown for 4-5 years, so the chance of quick flowering is high! Some varieties grow into their intended (double) form as they get older. Colors can vary slightly per year and depend on the preceding winter cold. Because we have to wait until the plants have died naturally, the rhizomes will not be available until OCTOBER at the earliest.
