Paeonia lactiflora 'Stardust'

  • Product number: 736773.1
  • Origin: China, Northeast Asia
  • Latin: Paeonia lactiflora

THESE BULBS WILL ARRIVE IN OCTOBER 2024.
(1964) The large, cup-shaped, single-flowered peonies bloom early in an ivory-white color (with a slight pink tint) and a beautiful tuft of golden yellow stamens. This early-flowering peony blooms early at a height of 80 cm.

After years of experience in the Netherlands, our grower has compiled a TOP assortment of the most beautiful and successful peonies.

They grow in all soil types:
On clay, growth is problem-free, do not over-fertilize and ensure good drainage.
On sand, the plants remain somewhat smaller; sufficient fertilization keeps the plant healthy.
On peat soil, growth is generally good, but the plants will need to be transplanted or renewed a little earlier.

Place peonies in a sunny spot, plant them (immediately upon arrival) shallowly so that only a few cm of soil covers the "eyes", first pressing down the soil.
We supply loose rhizomes; each plant has grown for 4-5 years, so the chance of quick flowering is high! Some varieties grow into their intended (double) form as they get older. Colors may vary slightly per year and depend on the preceding winter cold. Because we have to wait until the plants have naturally died back, the rhizomes are only available FROM OCTOBER AT THE EARLIEST.
