(1950) Very early flowering garden splendor! This single-flowered, warm pink peony blooms at a height and width of 60-90 cm, its light green foliage remaining in excellent condition for a long time. In its heart, the warm yellow anthers gleam like a full brush... also, smell the flowers: a wonderful fragrance! This variety originated from the following crosses: P. lactiflora x P. mlokosewitschii x P. tenuifolia.
After years of experience in the Netherlands, our grower has compiled a TOP assortment of the most beautiful and successful peonies.
They grow in all soil types:
On clay, growth is problem-free; do not fertilize too much and ensure good drainage.
On sand, the plants remain somewhat smaller; sufficient fertilization keeps the plant in good condition.
On peat soil, growth is generally good, but the plants will need to be replanted or renewed slightly earlier.
Place peonies in a sunny spot, planting them (immediately upon arrival) shallowly so that only a few cm of soil covers the "eyes," pressing down the soil first.
We supply bare rootstocks; each plant has grown for 4-5 years, so the chance of quick flowering is high! Some varieties, as they age, grow into their intended (double) form. Colors can vary slightly per year and depend on the preceding winter cold. Because we have to wait until the plants have died back naturally, the rootstocks are available FROM OCTOBER at the earliest.
