THESE BULBS WILL ARRIVE IN OCTOBER 2024.
(1856) This fairly low-growing plant (80cm) starts flowering at the end of May. The petals of this creamy-white variety extend beyond the full heart. Because the plant has leaves from the bottom up, an attractive round plant structure is created.
After years of experience in the Netherlands, our grower has put together a TOP assortment of the most beautiful and successful peonies.
They grow in all soil types:
On clay, growth is problem-free; do not fertilize too much and ensure good drainage.
On sand, the plants remain somewhat smaller; sufficient fertilization keeps the plant healthy.
On peat soil, growth is generally good; however, the plants will need to be transplanted or renewed a little earlier.
Place peonies in a sunny spot, plant them (immediately after arrival) so shallowly that only a few cm of soil covers the "eyes," first pressing down the soil.
We supply loose rootstocks; each plant has grown for 4-5 years, so the chance of quick flowering is high! Some varieties grow into their intended (double) form as they get older. Colors can vary slightly per year and depend on the preceding winter cold. Because we have to wait until the plants have died off naturally, the rootstocks are available FROM OCTOBER at the earliest.
