AVAILABLE ALMOST YEAR-ROUND, SOME PERIODS NOT. The most special clover we know. This Brazilian species is not only particularly graceful with its fresh green leaves (usually with light marble spots) and sharply contrasting, light pink flowers, but also very tasty! I snack on the leaves wherever I see them: delicious lime flavour, fresh sour and yet a little sweet. Wonderful with almost all dishes! Grow the bulbs in a pot indoors or in pots or the garden outdoors, preferably in a slightly shaded spot. The leaves "sleep" at night and in dark weather. Overwinter frost-free! Koppert Cress markets the leaves under the protected name Yka Leaves. A logical advice: use the Lime Leaf only as a garnish and flavour enhancer, not as a main meal: just like rhubarb, too much acid is bad for the bones! (Overwinter frost-free)
