The beautiful grey cloverleaf is folded lengthwise. The light pink flowers (with white hearts) pop. They love well-drained soil and grow wild in the Andes Mountains (Patagonia and surrounding areas) of Chile and Argentina. The abundant bloom is from May-August at a height of 10 cm.
The culinary world loves this plant: graceful and tasty is, after all, the ideal mix to give dishes an extra touch! Both the leaves and the delicate flowers have a light fresh-sour taste. The original inhabitants of South America mainly ate the conical tubers of this Oxalis.
