A true beauty, the large, pure white, funnel-shaped flowers (10-15 per stem) have a wonderful fragrance. Hgt. 100-150 cm. They already produce leaves in winter, so place them in a light, fertile, and lime-rich spot. Do not plant too deeply.
"Wild" lilies from northern or other cold regions (like these) are best planted in autumn. For our large, colorful assortment of hybrids, including those of Asian origin, see the summer-flowering bulbs.
