Playful, colourful and yet a little wild.... the 40 cm high flower stalks bear an elongated cluster with up to 15 hanging bells. They like moisture and (light) shade, ideal as underplanting for shrubs and trees, naturalizing very well. As a cut flower they are very strong, they are not fragrant. The difference with the English bluebell is the top of the flower stem: Spanish upright, English drooping, Spanish not fragrant, English fragrant.
