THESE BULBS WILL ARRIVE IN OCTOBER 2024.
In our search for "black" flowers, we came across this beautiful, yet rare Fritillaria! The large, hanging bell-shaped flowers (1-8 per stem) should, of course, be called deep dark purple, providing a vibrant contrast with the fresh foliage. The height will be approximately 25-40 cm. Give them a semi-shaded spot in moisture-retentive, humus-rich soil. Flowering time April-May. Native to North America and Japan. The plant owes the name Indian Rice to the many white bulblets that form on the main bulb.
