WINTER-FLOWERING. Very hardy species, the best winter-flowering plant (end of December - mid-April) for our climate. The leaves are gracefully silver-coloured, appear in autumn and remain until the end of spring (unless very severe frost kills them). The flower colour is lilac-pink. Occasionally (but not always) the flowers are fragrant. They bring colour to the garden even before the first snowdrops, snowflakes, winter aconites or crocuses!
