Double-flowered white with green heart.
By far the most well-known anemone, loved throughout the ages as a cut flower and introduced to our country from France around 1850. There are two known types: the De Caen type with large, beautifully colored, single flowers, and the St. Brigid type with semi-double flowers and rather narrow petals. They prefer nutritious, humus-rich soil and are sufficiently frost-hardy with some winter cover. Height 25 cm.
