This species is slowly but surely establishing itself in our wild flora. Ideal for a (partially) shaded spot, under trees. The significant foliage development is striking: narrow, dark green leaves that are on par with ornamental grasses. Bright white flowers appear in umbels quite early in May-June. The flower stalks gracefully bend under the weight of the flowers.
Ornamental onions (or ornamental leeks) are very popular! They bloom from May, a time when garden chairs can be brought out!
