Tulipa Fosteriana Hybrids 'Madame Lefeber'
- Product number: 732180.1
- Origin: Central Asia
- Latin: Tulipa Fosteriana-hybriden
One of the first botanical tulips to be given a variety name! Around 1900, the grower D.W. Lefeber found this to be a standout among the wild Tulipa fosteriana. The flower is therefore bright red and remarkably strong and large for a short tulip (25 cm high) and still garners admiration! We buy the largest bulb size to create a beautiful bed.
A very early flowering tulip with robust, stately flowers (sometimes 20 cm in diameter when "open")
