Tulipa 'Black Parrot'
- Product number: 731620.1
- Origin: Central Asia
- Latin: Tulipa
The ‘Black Parrot’ tulip has been chosen as the Flower Bulb of the Year 2009. The jury described the parrot tulip as a special ‘beauty’ with a magnificent, dark flower. Ideal for planting in gardens or pots. The ‘Black Parrot’ tulip will be the standard-bearer for the ‘plant flower bulbs now’ promotional campaign that will be conducted in the autumn of 2009 aimed at Dutch and Flemish consumers.
Parrot tulips represent the most exotic group! Irregularly fringed and crumpled petals, looking as if they've stepped right out of old paintings.
